Q&A with the Client
Following are a few examples of questions that were asked from my end to the client to understand the company better. These open ended plus close ended questions helped me kick start the work.

Understanding Users
Understanding Users
The user segment for this site were mainly going to be renewable energy generators, consumers, investors, government bodies, explorers who are interested to know about the industry.
I had divided the users in the most important to least important which helped us craft the content, information hierarchy and site map.

Information Architecture
Information Architecture
The IA for the website was designed keeping the primary, secondary actions under consideration. The primary action being - when the user wants to become an energy partner or consumer (form) through NewRa Grids, user wants to request demo and contact the team. Secondary action - when the user wants to calculate electricity consumption, learn more about NRG and learn about the platform.
After a few thoughtful iterations, the following site map was followed and delivered to the developer.

UI Exploration & Style Guide Set Up
UI Exploration & Style Guide Set Up
The brief for the UI was that NRG should come across as a tech-focused, futuristic company with human and sustainability touch. The communication should reflect the same. The hero section to have a wow-factor, other sections should be systematically creative and scalable.
I had taken inspiration from the given brand kit which has logo variations, typography, color scheme. The UI and interactions were carefully crafted keeping the users in mind, studying the competitors, energy industry and client approvals.
Various elements like layer blur, font play, layout play and design assets were explored and the final UI was finalised in about 2 weeks.

AI tools for structured research
I am on the journey of exploring AI tools when every 2 months, new tech developments come about in the industry. Something about AI which has helped me in this project is extracting frameworks, organising processes and structuring data.

Coordination with tech team
Since I was a lead and only designer working on this project, I was responsible for making tech team understand the vision and micro interactions of this site. I all I was coordinating with tech team of 4 members. Documentation became the most important part of delivery.
